What Does the following Blood Test Result Mean?
Hi i am Male/29 yrs old. Recently i started to have some breathing problems. I feel that the air i intake is not sufficient/ i have to resort to deep breaths. I work in a dust area for 2 hrs daily.. My blood report is as follows:- Only abnormalities highlighted in bold Total erythrocyte count 6077, red cell distribution width 18.3, MCV 59.4, MCH 19.9, Eosinophills 7 ESR 1st hour 10, 2nd hour 22 I am on the current medication doxovent, telekast, brozeet, clavam, vibact-DS

you have not mentioned your hemoglobin levels, your mcv and mch are reduced which indicates your red cells are microcytic hypochromic.The treatment you are getting is covering infections and allergy.your rbc count is high, if your work place is in high altitude it may cause breathing problem and increased rbc count. Get one serum erythropoietin levels for confirmation.
